It is aimed at people who would like to start a new career in a relatively short space of time, including students leaving school, people who would simply like to have access to an additional source of income, and those who simply feel like a career change.

The initial courses, up to the Dive Rescue Course, is presented in CMAS format – which, while being a lot cheaper, is still on the same standard as the equivalent courses in PADI format. Additionally, only the essential training (as required to progress from one level to the next) is supplied, with no “filler courses” in between. After obtaining the rescue Diver qualification, the course format is then switched over to PADI for the instructor’s courses, making the end qualification internationally acceptable.

The resulting – internationally accepted – qualification is that if Divemaster – which will enable you to become an underwater tour guide, or assistant instructor – at any of thousands of PADI affiliated diving resorts worldwide.

Divemaster:

The minimum enrollment qualification is that of Rescue Diver (MSD not necessary). This qualification allows you to assist with training, as well as to operate as an underwater tour guide. The course requires 60 dives, and a practical examination.

You also qualify to receive the quarterly magazine from PADI – “The Undersea Journal”.

Instructor:

The Instructor Development Course, or IDC, is presented by Course Director Danny Martin.

The Instructor Exam – IE – is done by independent Course Directors from another country, as specified by PADI.

Children’s Courses:

Bubble Maker Programs – for children form 8 years – pool training only.
Junior Courses – 13 to 15 yrs. These courses can at a later stage be converted to normal qualifications, and deemed as having completed an open water course – if you want to continue your training.

Openwater Course:

This course includes lectures, practical training in a pool, and an exam. You also need to complete 5 qualifying dives. This course is aimed at equipping you for diving up to 18 metres.

Advanced Openwater Course:

This course qualifies you for diving up to a depth of 23 meters. It includes lectures and an exam, covering additional topics like Night Dives, Deep Diving (enabling you to dive down to 30 meters), Navigation Dive, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck Diving and Underwater Photography.

Medic First Aid – EFR

This is a preparational course to qualify for enrolling in the Rescue Diver Course (if you have completed an in-date first aid course, it will be accepted).

Rescue Diver Course:

Lectures, practical training and exam – to equip you to deal with situations, but also to spot and evert potential dangerous situations and practices.

MSD – Master Scuba Diver:

This is the highest possible recreational diving qualification you can obtain (without entering leadership level or instructional level diving). In order to qualify, you need to be trained in five specialties.

IANTD – these courses are only offered per request, and are presented by Don Shirley, a highly experienced dive instructor.

Certification:

All courses are internationally recognised.
Registered with PADI – Professional Association for Diving Instructors.
Unpon course completion, every diver receives an internationally accepted PIC – personal identification card.

Cross-over Facilities:

Some diving schools reserve the right to ignore your existing qualifications when crossing over from one professional association to another, requiring you to re-enroll in a course you have already completed, but with a different institution, and possibly a different name.

Cammo Adventures acknowledges you existing qualifications, allowing you to cross over from one training body to another (NAVI, PADI, SSI, CMAS, BSAC) and simply continue your development as a diver, without any additional costs or wasted time.
