Recreational or Membership Diving Courses

These courses, although some are quite advanced, are for your own use – personal or professional – but do not qualify you to instruct others and issue accepted qualifications. On the other hand, there are no annual fees, or regular re-examinations to evaluate your training standards.

Children’s Courses:

Bubble Maker Programs – for children form 8 years – pool training only.
Junior Courses – 13 to 15 yrs. These courses can at a later stage be converted to normal qualifications, and deemed as having completed an open water course – if you want to continue your training.

Openwater Course:

This course includes lectures, practical training in a pool, and an exam. You also need to complete 5 qualifying dives. This course is aimed at equipping you for diving up to 18 metres.

Advanced Openwater Course:

This course qualifies you for diving up to a depth of 23 meters. It includes lectures and an exam, covering additional topics like Night Dives, Deep Diving (enabling you to dive down to 30 meters), Navigation Dive, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck Diving and Underwater Photography.

Medic First Aid – EFR

This is a preparational course to qualify for enrolling in the Rescue Diver Course (if you have completed an in-date first aid course, it will be accepted).

Rescue Diver Course:

Lectures, practical training and exam – to equip you to deal with situations, but also to spot and evert potential dangerous situations and practices.

MSD – Master Scuba Diver:

This is the highest possible recreational diving qualification you can obtain (without entering leadership level or instructional level diving). In order to qualify, you need to be trained in five specialties.
